Still played more teams with a winning record than OSU, and still played more teams that will be in a bowl.

OSU has the stronger wins, but that Iowa loss is really not excusable Bama played what looked to be a tough schedule but the SEC turned out to be much worst all around and FSU suffered a pretty mighty collapse down which left them with a much reduced SOS they easily take the spot over the Buckeyes in nearly every other year, I think it is better to beat several really good teams and have a bad loss than to beat pretty much no real notable teams and have the better record so I think Ohio State will be the 4th one in, Bama has the better chance to get past Clemson IMO though.

Ohio gets merked by 4 tds at minimum. They had a better team last year with largely the same players and lost 31-0.
