Z just posted about this... Dody fukked up with his publishing setup, and even registered with different names (stage name on one registration and legal name on another) + a publisher named TENYOR MUSIC is claiming 18% in his name.

Damn hopefully he fixes his mistake, but yeah another L for the pedophile's fans

Alright Dody6—this is the blueprint to turn your Kendrick feature into a launchpad for a lasting career. I’m breaking it into 3 parts:

PART 1: 30-DAY ROLLOUT PLAN

WEEK 1: Heat Check

Goal: Let the world know who you are and what you just did.

  • Day 1-3:
    • Post your Kendrick verse clip on IG/TikTok/YouTube Shorts.
    • Add “Featured on Kendrick Lamar’s #1 album” to bios.
    • Update website/linktree with press photos, bio, and the feature.

  • Day 4-7:
    • Drop a high-quality freestyle or mini-doc (60 sec) of your come-up.
    • Tease your next single: show artwork, studio clips, etc.
    • Start outreach to blogs, podcasters, and influencers (see pitch email below).

WEEK 2: Spotlight Time

Goal: Drop your first solo single and own the narrative.

  • Release your single + visual (YouTube premiere + teaser clips for TikTok/Reels).
  • Behind-the-scenes post: recording the song, how it connects to the Kendrick track.
  • Go live with fans, talk about the experience.
  • Book at least 2 podcast or YouTube interviews this week.

WEEK 3: Expand Reach

Goal: Solidify you as a serious artist.

  • Start a “Who is Dody6?” campaign—series of short videos breaking down your story, influences, process.
  • Drop a visualizer or acoustic/mellow remix of your single.
  • Feature announcement: tease collabs you’re cooking with others in LA or beyond.
  • React to fans reacting to your Kendrick verse (YouTube Shorts/TikTok gold).

WEEK 4: Monetize + Lock Momentum

Goal: Start making money & establishing demand.

  • Drop a limited merch line: shirts w/ a lyric from your Kendrick verse or your new single.
  • Launch your email list (for tour dates, merch drops, exclusive tracks).
  • Drop a short EP/Deluxe w/ 2-3 more songs (even if rough mixes).
  • Perform locally: pop-up shows, open mics, listening party, live session.

PART 2: PRESS & PITCH EMAIL TEMPLATE

1. Press Outreach (Blogs, Podcasts, Mags)

Subject Line:

“Meet Dody6 – The Voice Behind That Kendrick Verse”

Body:

What’s up [Name],

I’m Dody6, an LA-based rapper who just landed a feature on Kendrick Lamar’s latest album—the biggest album of the year. My verse has been getting serious attention, and I’m reaching out to build on that moment with a new single and an upcoming EP.

I’d love to hop on your platform and share my story—from freestyling in Crenshaw to being in the booth with Kendrick. Let me know if you’re down for an interview, write-up, or feature.

Press kit, music links, and contact info below. Appreciate your time and energy.

Peace,

Dody6

Hey [Brand Name],

I’m Dody6—an LA rapper who just featured on Kendrick Lamar’s latest album. With that spotlight on me, I’m planning a major rollout and looking to align with brands that reflect the culture and energy I come from.

I think [Your Brand] and I could create something fly—limited drops, event activation, even co-branded visuals. If that sounds like something you’d explore, let’s connect.

Peace and prosperity,

Dody6

But on the real some of these nikkas are better off getting a job stacking boxes or some shyt, anything. Swallow yo pride nikka. Not everybody can make a living off rap. It's like a fraction of a percent of nikkas that make it.

If Dody6 was from Massachusetts understandable, but yall know what he was trying to do with GNX

Man put some money in his pockets, it ain't got to be a lot, almost inconsequential, especially with the amount Duckworth pulling in

And it would be smart just to protect your image from how those where you come from view you and what they could say to the outside world

hence this thread

Its too late, the clock has struck midnight.

That superbowl performamce where he failed to be bold and make a statement, caused irrepreable harm to his image. Couple that with his failure to use his newfound platform to speak on black issues, politics, reperations. Racking up endorsement deals and affiliations with suspect companies and organizations out the ass though. Its one of the greatest fumbles in rap history.

Nothing you can blaytantly hate him for. He didnt do anything wrong per se,just didnt do a damn thing right as someone supposedly conscience. His biggest impact has been pushing gang banging to the youth:respect:
