man I'm hitting you back on how i felt about the doc, i just finished watching it. This is definitely in the right path of showing a more positive light of the hood, and still show it's scars. People can go out there and show all the senseless shyt and I've seen it as well. but it brings great insight into how people just really wanna live regular life's, or regular people trapped in bad conditions. That grandma was really great makes me wanna help people from the hood, people with such great potential. That young girl who got pregnant i felt like she should have finished collage and got that 5 year anti pregnancy's thing. That's why a part of me thinks it's also so sad how many young life's are cut short on the doc and also changed to accept a life of struggling. If black people would have real reparations, people could benefit from a bunch of programs that could guide them right is what i get from that, cus reparations is not just about money. That's what i get from it anyway.. Great documentary, if you got any more let me know. peace.
