If this drug is potent as they say it is, then I support it....Here is why...
(1) The vast MAJORITY of people on Earth are NOT drug addicts...
(2) If you break your leg, break your spine or are in constant agonizing physical pain, (a) you probably wont get addicted to ZoHydro (b) even if you are addicted, the ZoHydro will improve your quality of life...
There is NO good reason for anybody in the Western World to be living in physical pain...
(3) Pain Management is TERRIBLE in healthcare...Dr are either over-prescribing, but for the most part under-prescribing especially for people who have a history of substance abuse...
Working as physiotherapist in a hospital, one of the biggest challenges of the job is not being able to get a patient moving, because he/she is in so much pain, but the Dr's don't come to assess, and yet, they refuse to prescribe a narcotic or they prescribe a dose that wouldn't even touch a small child...
Dr's are afraid to prescribe narcotics and nurses are afraid to give them...
(5) The people who are going to use the drug will always exist...If it is not ZoHydro, then they will invent their own pharmaceutical such as Krokodil...But just because these people abuse it, it doesn't mean that the vast majority of people who use pain pills therapeutically should suffer...
(6) There is NO narcotic drug known to man that will just turn-out into a zombie...Addiction is a big syndrome that has a lot to do with biological predisposition, upbringing, current environmental and socio-economic factors, and poor coping mechanisms...
If your life is socially, financially, mentally and etc straight, and you fall and break your leg, and the doctor prescribes you 60 ZoHydro tablets to help you cope for a month, you are NOT going to turn into a zombie...
If you do, it's probably because you have some socio-psychological issues, and the drug is helping as a crutch...
