I agree on Jodie getting a bum deal and honestly I think Davies would've treated her great if she stuck around for a series or two under him.

I am a Moffat as a writer fanboy but I was a bit disappointed in him as showrunner.

He ran out of juice fast but when I go back and watch episodes on a whim, it’s usually from 11 or 12’s run.
I rarely watch 9 or 10 except for Moffat written episodes like River Song.

I've been buzzing about this all afternoon. Was on a thread discussing who and someone posted the link and I just dismissed it as a spoof article until i realised it was real. Excellent news, I bet the 60th special is going to be brilliant. RTD's writing has been better than ever recently with shows like the outstanding 'It's A Sin' so I reckon this will be even better than his first run.
I've hated the majority of Moffat & Chibnall's characters and characterisations so it's a treat to know that RTD is back as he excels at writing people properly.
Big speculation on if the new Doctor will be someone he's worked with before too. He had done 'The Second Coming' with Eccleston previous to Who and 'Casanova' with Tennant. Most of the guesses being aimed at the cast of 'It's A Sin'.
Olly Alexander has been talked about for the replacement Doctor for a while now but I could see any of the 4 male leads from the show getting the role.

I’m wondering if Chibnall and Davies are talking about how to line up the handover.
Not necessarily collaborative but Davies Doctor Who isn’t where the character is now. Some I’m wondering if he will pick up the Gallifrey arc Moffat and Chibnall have started weaving and go from there.

That Sontaran episode looks like it’s going to be amazing in scope.

Those creature designs/make-up look cool as hell.
Yeah. Chibnall and his era gets a right doing over but this look promising. Good designs, Sontarans looking as they should, I've seen the second pic referred to as Whobacca!

6 eps isn’t a lot of room for filler. Whatever the Flux is, it’s going to be dealt with every episode.
I’m also interested how the Weeping Angels are handled by someone not Moffat.
