So Brendan...

A Timeless child being experimented on to force a regeneration instead of dying and reborn

okay,

1. It wasn't that bad.... the reveal kinda wasn't either, even though
it shyts on the extended history. Doesn't really negate, just... shyts on it a bit

2. Chibnall prolly thought he was doing something revolutionary with
Cyberconverted Gallifreyans, but the idea of Cyberized Gallifreyans taking over the universe was used not even 5 years ago in the comics. It was a multi-Doctor event (sorta) that took place after Capaldi kicked Rassilon off Gallifrey. Rassilon hooked up with the Cybermen. Hilarity ensued,

3. Those two points above would've gone over SO much better if
Rassilon found that kid, and the kid turned out to be The Master

Coulda done without the Doctor Who theme playing during that part.

and no way in the history of all fukks should
The Doctor EVER be able to overload The Matrix. No matter how many memories/lives she got

also should in no way it be possible that
some janky ass Judoon teleporter be able to transmit inside the TARDIS :francis::francis::francis::francis:. I guess next season we'll have eps of the team with a TARDIS they can't fly looking for The Doctor, who, of course is gonna escape.

anyway, 3.5/5 season finale, 4/5 season. HUGE improvement over last season.

Huge.

though it's kinda wack that the season finale is one of the weak (if not weakest) episodes of the season.

Always a blast, guys. See you next season, hopefully. :salute:

The anniversary episode or special needs 8-12 to come back and deal with the Timeless Child arc and the Gallifreyeans.

Still trying to decide what I thought of the last 2 episodes. I think it went too far on detailing the Doctor's past and making the Morbius faces official incarnations.

Mad to think that they've basically just made 8 people involved in making Who, including writers & directors, people to have played the Doctor.

it was a lot of info to take in and there's a couple of things that weren't addressed like where all the humans had been going to through the rift.

I need to sit and think it all through and maybe have a rewatch but I think I'm disappointed with them overall.

They can work around the Morbius faces things. Brendan wasn’t a real face. They hid the Division stuff behind a fake Irish man’s story. Same thing could be used for that scene.

Watching
So with this revelation the Doctor should no longer have a number limit of regenerations. Right?
