You can sear or broil on the Foodi. Ninja indoor Grill is great as well and has a meat thermometer included to get the perfect steak. I love the grill for salmon burgers

I fukked around and made a really good ass steak (with roasted sweet potatoes) just playing around with the settings and temp. I’m eating right now. shyt is delicious - I might have stumbled onto the right settings for me :mjlol:

But I’m gonna be looking it up in more detail this weekend. I’m gonna try some turkey fillets tomorrow

The Ninja Foodi Smartlid died on me. Now I'm stuck using this Ninja Combi I bought off Facebook Marketplace. Seems like Ninja discontinued all the Foodis that were air fryers and pressure cookers combined.

I'm genuinely sad to hear that. Any warranty? For as many products as they have, they should have a decent warranty. Cause that's one of the ones you can't swap out, right?

shyt that one might not even be on the market, if anything maybe they'll give you a voucher but then try to hit you with sticker price.

Id email them. I email companies all the time. Never complaining. Just requesting replacement parts or replacement units. Not gonna lie, I can't think of a time I've ever been let down. I've gotten free replacement shyt, or just the parts, sometimes and entire unit replaced.

If I were you I'd reach out, hit the email. Tell them how long you've been a user of their products, and how long you've had this product, how often you use it, what you like about this specific product (hit them with the this one is the right size, other ones are too small and when I went to the store to search for a similar one they were too big for my countertop), then ask them what options they can suggest for you (authorized service center, any warranty repairs, order a replacement unit through them)

They'll hit you with the "thank you for being a customer for xxx years, we appreciate it and are glad you like this product. Yadda yadda yadda. Were sorry this happened, and then hit you with an offer.

No warranty I bought it in July of 22. I was on Reddit and the people there say even on warranty you can't get a replacement with the Smartlid they'll send you the older one with the 2 separate lids if anything.

I wonder if its just a bad product because they wiped it from existence. I didn't even see it on their website.

Ninja has a lot of products and they drop the new shyt and don't really support the old shyt. That's the main reason I'll never own a ninja product.

You might as well hit them up and see if they'll offer you 30% off or sell you some discontinued product, or see if they are somewhat a$$holes and tell you to piss off. In which case you'll probably never buy anything ninja ever again.
