I mentioned Doug back when this thread first started, and I use to follow his recipes. But I shouldn't have over-hyped him like that, because he was being way too careless as far as eating healthy. After he once indicated he wasn't paying his doctor much attention, I entered one of his live chats one evening, and warned him to watch those numbers (blood pressure, cholesterol, etc...). I think he got a little offended. When you look at his weight now, compared to how he looked back then, he probably wish he had listened. You can see the weight gain in his face. When certain numbers get out of hand, you can't always adjust them in just a matter of weeks. I think he's trying to eat a little healthier now, but I still think his recipes are a little too risky in the long run. Another thing is, you could wound up with a lot of kitchen gadgets watching him, like I did. He later said up front that if wounding up with too many kitchen gadgets was going to be an issue, then we shouldn't subscribe to his channel. I stop watching a long time ago, but I do check his channel when I want to mess up. One of his biggest weakness's was cheese. I knew that wasn't gonna work for him too long. But I recently heard him say you gotta live. I can related to that. Anyway, I hope he works a little harder on eating healthy. I can always use some healthy recipes. At one time, you wouldn't see a recipe posted if it wasn't healthy. That suddenly stopped it seems.
