There was a dude in the hood in Harlem that had a Tiger living in an apartment, they only found out he had it cause he went to the ER with wounds that he claimed were from a Pitbull but were way too big to be from a dog

I wouldn't think a man with a cat would be "suspect." I always think it's so funny when grown people are legit afraid of dogs and cats. I had a little Jack Russell for years and my brother's friend wouldn't come in the house until I put up the dog. 
My cat is well behaved your friend sounds stupid. Don't stereotye people. My cat has taken on and beaten many dogs in the hood. He is an indoor cat. He is declawed. He is also huge and lovable but also independent. He doesn't back down from anything. My pet also shows me maaaad love and respect. He might not come when I call all the time but sometimes
The point is do y'all want true companions or slaves? I have collected all types of animal strays since I was a kid. Grew up in Africa (Kenya).... I could tell stories for days but I learned very early to respect the intelligence of animals and cats are highly intelligent. I kept farm animals and wild animals. Trust me brehs....
I kept dogs too. I've discussed this theory before but the main difference between cats and dogs is the dependence factor. In one animal you have a totally cool buddy but they live in servitude and are broken spirited animals (dogs). Cats on the other hand choose to live next to humans on their own terms. People that power trip (cacs) are especially into dogs for the reasons above. Get off on telling an animal when to breath even. Cats don't go for that so egomaniacs can't fukk with em.
I kept all my dogs outside and they were strays I won over. I value having a relationship with animals, I just don't OWN them. That shyt is corny to me. I can't stand goofy pet owners and their retarded animals.... My this and my that. You know why my cat respects me because I don't own him. That nikka is my homie
