Hell no. That shyt was just a 2 hour chase movie. Zero depth or character development besides nods to "the patriarchy!"
Max goes from being all about himself and his survival to risking his life and fighting for someone else's cause and returning back to the place that temporary enslaved him. Nux goes from blind devotion and being suicidal for an ideology to bonding with the very women he was supposed to return, experiencing human affection for the first time, and rebuking everything he's been taught and fighting against the army he was raised to be apart of and eventually choosing to die for something greater than an ideology. Furiosa goes from cold ass warrior who tries to flee and find the promise land to forming a serious bond and holding affection for Max who she seriously tried to kill, and she fights to return to the place she loathes. Just because it wasn't dialogue heavy doesn't mean it didn't have character development out the ass.
