He's signed to a performers contract with WWE. He HAS TO wrestle.

I feel like this is all leading to a Shane turn but I don't know if Daniel Bryan will be competing in a WWE ring again. I'm not naive enough to believe that Vince and co. care about dude's health and that is why they are keeping him out of the ring. I feel like that concussion lawsuit is why WWE docs haven't cleared him. Bottom line is that the optics of putting a guy back in the ring who had an extremely public retirement because of concussion related issues, when they have a legion of ex talent suing them, in part for placing "corporate gain over its wrestlers' health, safety and financial security" is an extremely bad look. Especially with CTE being such a hot topic. Anyone who looks at it objectively and not like a D-Bry or wrestling fan will admit that.
I think that the WWE is going to get all they can out Bryan while he's there but unless they settle that lawsuit the odds of seeing dude wrestling in the WWE again are slim.

The only person for that would be Sami, and the son of Vince McMahon will never work pre show so how can they possibly book Sami Zayn to that level
