do you think the WWE 'botched' 2011 Summer of Punk and 2014 Daniel Bryan?

It was complicated with Bryan because he got hurt very soon after he was about to get the rub but they had no excuse with Punk, he was white hot.

I mean, I've sounded the horn on the Summer of Punk so many times, in so many threads, it's just like preaching to people and there's nothing we can do about it now. It was fukked up and what's done is done.

2014 Bryan never really got off the ground due to his injury. Kane could have been a passable opponent until the Evolution/Shield feud was over and done with but I didn't like where they were going with it. With his skits where he and Brie were trying to get out of the arena with a car but Kane was in the back seat to other things. It may have worked or been interesting if Bryan was a heel but...he was a face. Then, he got injured, and that was that.

The two of them, rob van dam, Christian, and booker could've been megastars. Maybe Jericho too. All of them were kneecapped by awful booking designed to keep them from peaking.

For a company who keeps beating a dead horse about WCW and it's booking decisions, they sure want to outdo them in every way imaginable .

Either of them get hot post 2015 and WWE has waaaaay more patience and faith in them that what they had in 2011 and 2013.

D-Bry had the injuries working against him but with a brandsplit he doesn't get overworked like he did from 2012 to 2014. Same could be said about Punk to be honest.

They've should've let Daniel bryan win the rumble, but I don't think Batista was a bad choice either.

Summer of punk is one of their biggest botches of all time, probably top 3 in company history. At least with dbry they eventually got it right, it may not of been intended that way but it ended up right.

He should've been on Kimmel and GMA and he should've shown up at ROH and in NJPW with the title...

They should've had Punk off TV until someone won the rumble and then had his music hit... could've been amazing

CM Punk should of definitely should of been used better post MITB 2011. Should of defended the belt on ROH and New Japan...they had the capital to make that deal. They just didn't want to put him over that HUGE and that big..that's the bottom line to it. They were sucking off Cena so much..they refused to let someone get to his level...Wade Barrett was red hot the year before. Had the crowds laughing at Cena during the Nexus storyline and during those promo segments...they had Wade bo$$ing up way too much
