Batman begins was the most balanced of the trilogy (and best imo)

and with this one including a lot of year 1 as opposed

to his beginnings in the league of shadows, it will be interesting

The Dark Knight is one of the greatest films of all time. If The Batman can be just as good as Batman Begins that will be a huge win.

Most of the highest grossing movies ever are near or over 3 hours so I never understand that argument

I think that works for repeat customers who will view movies multiple times, especially franchise films but not for someone like me with a casual interest in this film.

With the 45 day window the shortest it's ever been will they get those repeat customers? I saw TDK twice in theaters. This time probably not.

Somebody recently said its a James Bond movie franchise with Batman in it and I cant shake that perception now. Still has the GOAT villain portayals tho, all damn 3 of them

That was what Afflecks Batman script was. Reeves read it and did his own thing bc he wasn’t going for the all action superhero route. He’s doing an entire new iteration that we’ve never seen in Batman before. I personally believe this film will turn casual fans away but film noir buffs will love to see in a Batman movie. I can’t wait.
