@TheFireCar. But financially, easily. It only needs to be mildly entertaining to do that. Hell even if it's bad it's probably still going to eat. Critically...going to be tough since TDK trilogy obviously had Nolan at the helm. But these trailers look damned promising. Every time they release one I'm more optimistic.

Somebody recently said its a James Bond movie franchise with Batman in it and I cant shake that perception now. Still has the GOAT villain portayals tho, all damn 3 of them
the last one was disappointing but it doesnt take away from the first two
