Adding to what others have said, SSJ being a transformation of enhanced power makes it more iconic than a title. Don’t think actually being the pirate king fundamentally changes Monkey D. Luffy as much as his journey does and it’s Luffy who is the icon, not really being a pirate king.

You had kids, teenagers, even adults worldwide trying to imitate the SSJ transformation. Cringeworthy stuff but it happened. Not really the same with Luffy reaching his goal.

I mean who doesnt remembers this gem a couple years back

Super Saiyan will have lifetime influence. It was one of the few animes dubbed and broadcasted in North America. One Piece will have the numbers now but it won't have the environment from back then. Everything these days is meme'd and photoshopped but doesn't have a lasting impact.

Plus the investment of over a 1000 episodes is ridiculous.

Honestly at this point, the only way one piece could not have a disappointing ending is if the treasure itself allows you to wish for ANYTHING you want and live whatever life you want in an alternate universe for as long as you want.
