Do you think it's okay for black men to lack empathy for other black men?

The world owes you sh1t...end of the day nobody cares people will watch you die....and the only worse than a nikka is another....no devil has done me worse that the nikka that helped create me...sure i could have empathy or sympathy...but what difference does it make....i know nikkas ain't right because I'm one... I'm 37 and old nikka so i stay away from nikkas the most i can...nikkas only wanna fukk and have fun...and for you lames gonna be that I'm a black man not a nikka...so the fukk what...i look at everybody as a potential threat it has kept me alive...this life sh1t is about survival....
I am sorry to hear this. It sounds like self imposed hell.

Nah. I hope more brehs understand that we only got each other in this society. As, no one either really cares or understands the black man plight like other black men can.
This only should make a black man want to uplift a fellow black man

White men can empathize with other white men. They show that they can and have through history. Brock Turner comes to mind .We seem to be unable to though. Why is that and is it okay? Again we're not talking about the way things are. We're talking about do they have to be?

I don’t really care what white men do, I’m not white so can’t relate.

Can’t worry about what could be, once again if nikkas are waiting on a pat on the ass to make moves then that’s moreso a personal issue anyway because whatever moves you make in any regard should be intrinsically motivated...

Not at all what I'm getting at. But maybe it's something you can comprehend. Fair enough.

I get exactly what you said and I’m responding by saying as a man who gives a fukk if another man Black or otherwise, empathizes with you or not and how does that help your specific situation in any circumstance...?

it doesn’t and it shouldn’t, don’t know what’s hard to understand about that...

Well knowing you have some one you can talk to or who may be able to help you through an issues is always a plus. People have gotten jobs that way. shyt, I've gotten a job that way. Because a black man who was older than me, saw my drive and potential, but empathized with my lack of resource. He had the connections and he helped me make them. That's how.

Black men aren't seen as humans who deserve love and support by most people including other black men. We're seen as victimiziers even by other black men.

The next big step in our community is changing that

i was about to say this....

some cats in here enjoy seeing black men fail and struggle

Okay because you’re needy, we all should be. Got
It...

Some of us need that type of shyt and some of us don’t so let’s not project our nonsense on everybody else when the facts suggest that people that figure out and get things done by themselves are more successful than those that need to lean / on others for that.

I think we should. If you see a good brother struggling and he doesn’t get involved in any negativity, why not help if you are in a position too? One hand should wash the other.

NO
I can say this: it’s not ok for the lack of empathy towards each other and it’s inexcusable for black men to not be on code and I’ve seen both plenty of times and on this forum this very day. One recent example was a foreign black poster made a thread exposing a racist and posters CAME FOR HIM, instead of the nonblack making slave and Tyrone jokes.

Black men has been beaten down from every aspect of society that one thinks its natural to be standoffish and aloof towards each other. And when people see that then they take it as we don’t give a damn about each other. Black men are also the LEAST likely group to be “on-code” towards each other as well.
