This is faulty logic.

How someone grew up does not determine their race. White folk were raised by Black women and were around more Black people than white and still grew up to be trash white slave owners.

Flip side, Malcolm X after his father died and his mother was placed in a mental facility and his family was split up, went to live with a white family, but I dare anyone to say he wasn't Black. In fact, him growing up with that white family allowed him to see just how depraved and evil white people could be.

There is more to being black than that.

Drake didn’t look look like the rest, wasn’t treated like the rest, when he was walking in his neighborhood with a hoodie - people didn’t react like he was from there. The expectations from society wouldn’t be the same. The feeling of exclusion etc wouldn’t be the same. The structural and implicit factors of being black are very complex, not some 1+1=2.

Add to the fact that his 1/4th of the year was spent with black people, in southern USA.

Why do people wanna make it seem like it’s so black or white. It’s like Obama. If he was white with the exact same upbringing, he wouldn’t most likely not choose the life he chose. Although he only met his father like twice.
