It would make some semblance of sense if it was but people are just products of hype. I saw a picture of Offset with some Balenciaga boots that look like some shyt Frankenstein wore.
Over pricing, exclusivity, popular artist wearing it = hype.

Like these shyts here cost over thousand dollars but I feel you'd have to PAY me a grand to wear these.

when you have a lot of money you don't look at the price tag.
ya'll will never know how it feels hence why you always talkin broke babble
Man, shut the fukk up. I don’t have the same kind of bread as these goofy ass rappers, yet I’m able to differentiate quality from hype. I wear high quality clothing, and it definitely isn’t garbage like Balenciaga.

Yes that person is right “luxury” brands are social experiments but to rich people even before fast fashion poorer people brought things to last a lifetime but Rich people can’t because they have to keep up where things are literally in season when seasons change so fast. Plus you get terms like old money vs New money.

Humans have a need to shyt on each other especially when you consider historically we set hierarchies everywhere.

Just like the Jay song both men were in luxury cars same color but one was a 4.0 and the other was a 4.6 and the difference in cost was 40,000

knowing this I’m content with living my life more simply by just owning what I can own and saving to own more from buying not so new iPhones, used cars where I don’t have to make payments, and experiences.

All of this "high fashion" shyt is a complete and pure rip-off. Have a look at Givenchy for example. $623 for literally a basic white T shirt, with some faded and worn writing on it which will certainly disappear after a few washes, turning into a plain white T. I can pick up a pack of 200 white T's for $600 on Amazon :mjlol:
