Do you really respect Booker T's 5 time champion run in WCW?

That’s like saying you don’t respect 1970’s sports athletes that won championships because they aren’t the athletes of today.

:stopitslime:

Booker T put in that work and deserved to be Champion

I mean let's face it by then that place was a joke.

Correct me if I'm wrong but when Booker T was WCW champion wasn't that around the same timeframe that other illustrious superstars such as David Arquette and some guy named Vince Russo was champ?

So to answer the question in the thread title, I'm afraid it's going to be a big no for me.

The bolded was word to word what Triple H said to Booker in that promo

I fooled ya'll

These were the WCW World Champs in 2000:

Bret Hart
Chris Benoit
Sid Vicious (2 times)
Kevin Nash (3 times)
Jeff Jarrett (4 times)
Diamond Dallas Page
David Arquette
Ric Flair (2 times)
Booker T (4 times)
Vince Russo
Scott Steiner
Vacant (6 times)

That company was a walking corpse by then.

I can see who WWE learned from in the late 2000s and early 2010s.

How does a title get held in abeyance six times in one year? :mindblown:
