Do you really respect Booker T's 5 time champion run in WCW?

I mean let's face it by then that place was a joke.

Correct me if I'm wrong but when Booker T was WCW champion wasn't that around the same timeframe that other illustrious superstars such as David Arquette and some guy named Vince Russo was champ?


So to answer the question in the thread title, I'm afraid it's going to be a big no for me.

Booker Tom appreciated his title run on Smackdown, while he meme'd the 5 time WCW champion gimmick. Hell, he put his King of the Ring win as a bigger milestone than the 5 time shyt.

For me, I am happy that Booker got a chance to hold the title. However, by then it felt empty, as WCW was already going down and Booker was seen as a 'ratings grab'. If he held the title during the prime years I think he would be more respected, but I do think his Best of 7 with Benoit is definitely up there as something WCW did great.
