Sometimes I'll be watching a show on Prime or Netflix etc and I just am looking at the picture quality.

Not that TV shows looked bad in the pre-HD era, bc they looked as good as they could look on old school tvs

But I can find myself now watching a show, for at least a few mins, that probably sucks but the HD just makes it look great.

I can't imagine the younger generation who basically only know nothin but HD being able to understand this.

To be fair you need to use an SD tv with a vhs to see what tv looked like before HD tv.

The way old footage from the 90s is shown on HD is not how it looked because the HD t.v. and digital signal distorts it

For instance when I see footage of NBA highlights or football highlights it did not look that bad compared to watching on tube tv in 2001. Same with videogames... In fact to get retro systems to look the way they used to look you have to buy an expensive adapter so they look like they did on tube TVs

You couldn't miss what you never had.

It's always like that tho. Watch something from 2005. shyt seems like it might as well be 90s.

In 10 years we will notice a difference again as technology keeps changing.

More things change more they stay the same.
Yes and no. While I'm adjusted to 4K my eyes have no problem watching 1080P.

Sad part is DVD still outsells bluray roughly 60%/40%
