My school is like 94% white and non-black. The Black population is only 3.9%. Most of the men in my science and math classes are white and Asian. I don't fukk with them. A lot of the Black guys are in Engineering but they're either already taken or out of reach (I spend a lot of time studying and in a lab so it's hard to get out there). I'm trying to be more outgoing but it's frustrating. I know I'm not ugly (I get compliments all the time) but I feel like I have tunnel vision when it comes to having a social life vs work/school. If you aren't a Black guy in STEM, you're most like in Business or something similar...Idk, I just feel like I wouldn't click with them. I don't want to come off as too awkward/weird based on the things I'm interested in.

Statistically someone is going to bag the nerd chick of their dreams but I wouldn't hold my breath. You'd honestly have better luck finding a white or Asian nerd sad as that is.

Just because someone has a different major doesn't mean you won't get along, just like having similar academic interests does not guarantee a good relationship.

Try to be more social with men and women you have no romantic interest in and it'll carry over to your dating life.
