High School sucked freshman/sophomore years but it ended on a GOAT level for me


So far high school was the peak of my life and I was a nerdy kid for most nerdy kids they peak in adulthood, but not me

That reminds me. I was doing a Summer job when I was younger at a Printing press shop and some older dude I was working with (Early 40s) talked about how he was the star Running back in high school and college, and had a child with a girl that ruined his college career. She put him on child support and through custody battle court cases which took away time from going to football games and practices. The College ended up dropping him. Dude looked so sad telling that story

i went to public schools in a city that has the most private schools for a city it's size (Pasadena, CA) in the entire US. Some people I grew up with are doing very well, some been floundering since HS. Also know rich kids that became drug addicts/alcoholics, one was a cac bytch that tried to finesse me into buying her a bottle and gave me an envelope with folded pieces of paper. She died at 25. thats how it goes when the biggest factor in future success is your parents wealth/income and not being an addict

I was trying to get the drawls but she claimed she needed to get High on Molly first

I'm a square and ain't never bought a pack of cigarettes let alone DRUGS ...She called her Molly dude up to the house and it turned out to be the former popular jerk Quarterback of the Highschool...I Guess football ain't work out which resulted in him being the town small time drug dealer...

She hops in the car with him to exchange the money for drugs And Here I am looking like a WHOLE J With this girl...I've never felt so Low in my Life...

We went through this like 6 times without me Fckin ONCE! Always made excuses.

I didn't know him personally but I knew of a guy that was def top 5 RBs for the entire state. You look in the newspaper and he's putting up insane stats, you couldn't tell me he doesn't have a chance at the league. I know WAY lesser athletes that did it.


But you look on Rivals and its like he didn't exist. Breh was a the epitome of a jock. All ball, no grades, and pawging. He never went to college or played any ball after, to my knowledge. shyt I wouldn't be surprised to learn he dropped out once our Senior season was over. One of those types where his son is highly likely to make it based of his mistakes.

My brother in law was the quarterback. He’s 41, has a one bedroom apartment, 2 baby mommas, and his truck is in his ex girlfriend’s name. He is currently playing stepdad to a girl with 2 baby mommas, who threw a rock through his window when she was mad, and he stayed with her. He’s $15K in arrears from child support, and is dodging the sheriff.

Honestly, I feel like most people in my high school class did OK.

I know a couple of brehs involved in an armed robbery that led to the deaths of two cashiers. They had been skipping school quite a bit and then I saw their names in the newspaper....might have been early senior year.

Couple of really popular guys died like a year after we graduated. I don't know the details. Kinda sad thinking back....like these dudes been in the ground almost 20 years. Otherwise, there's no obvious hero-to-zero story. The popular kids usually had decent grades. The ones barely skating by, still had to pass their classes because our school was serious about No Pass No Play. Flunk one class and you couldn't play any sport. Hence even the jocks did OK because they didn't get spoiled too much.

Best athlete in the school got like a 1300 SAT score and had a 3.9 GPA (full ride to U of Texas for football).
