No one knows what they're doing starting out and 9/10 look a little silly and lost to the initiated.
I took this for granted when I started working out. If you think lifting in the presence of experts is uncomfortable, try running. The worst is jogging your heart out and getting passed like you're standing still. Scratch that: THE worst is when you struggle to pass someone and you can't keep the lead and they pass your ass back. Having to go ahead and fall back and let them go is the finest Ether for that soul. It gets worse and worse depending on the demographic of the opponent:
Young males - little sting
Young females - feeling the burn a little
Older males - MJ vs Pepsi status
Older females - "stick in your a** slow like 'tsssssss' "
Luckily, they never actually say anything, but you know they like "look at this n****".
The faster I get, the more I revel in passing others and being like
Basically young guys are the only ones that I have trouble with these days.
