nah, i hate it when nikkas act like the only "culture" and music we have is hiphop so you become a c00n or a suspected cac if you're not into it like that or dont have a connection to it
idk if people realize hiphop has only really been around since the late 70s/early 80s so we have a plethora of other cultures and art forms that came before then. so if hiphop "dies" it's not the end of the world.
on that point no one but the deep south is supporting all of the new and classic southern soul that is only played on deep south radio stations. people talk about rnb is dead but all i heard growing up and when i go back home is newer southern soul(blues/rock/rnb fusion) but no one supports it. we got classic tracks down in MS, AL, GA, LA no one knows about.
every nikka from the deep south knows what im talking about. the chitlin circuit is still alive.
