White Dude: No it's not, it's a 3rd person shooter
Indian Dude: yeah yeah you're right

Then they give a whole summary on the story on the game. I'm sitting on the other side thinking...



Do I engage in this conversation and open the possibility for future gaming discussions? What if they ask me for my online tag?

I only have a couple of co-workers who game and it's one Chinese cat and this Chilean dude. I don't really game online with them like that, I've only played with the Chinese dude a couple times online in the past few years. The other one twice. I had this other cac who used to work here that was a big gamer but this cat was way too much with the shyt. Dude would get mad deep with the story and technical shyt sounding like fukking IGN.com and shyt.

The chinese dude cool and I don't feel uncomfortable talking around him since he's pretty open to shyt but the cac was just too much. You say one thing about a game he likes and this guy is sounding like Greg Miller and shyt.

Until about a week ago I did, as our office had a small gaming lounge with a PS4 set up there. We'd play SFV against each other. shyt came to an end today when the company laid off 40% of staff.

They got a Wii at the job, but they don't have New Super Mario Bros. That is the only game I'd be interested in playing.

One of my white coworkers got a little too comfortable and thought using the N word was ok(one of the reasons why I don't play games online anymore). Since then I made sure that I limit my outside of work interactions to only black coworkers. Not going to put myself in another situation like that.
