my pit passes away a little over a year ago. I would post a pic, but it makes me sad to look at them 
my girl got a doberman. but he's a chump that acts like a fukkin security guard. for real, he's too serious, but that's his job I guess. I just like a dog that doesn't care when I get him in a headlock

I know what you mean. I had to leave my dog with my parents when I moved to DC cause I live in an apartment building. I miss the hell out of the dog. At least he's protecting my parents. Funny thing I could stay away a whole year and the little guy still remembers me. He goes crazy when I go back to visit.

Same here. I could give a fukk about a dog...never wanted one. My girl insisted on a dog. Told her my homie was giving away pit puppies. Took her to see him and she fell in love with him on the spot. We took him home and he's been fam ever since.
Don't forget the staffordshire bull terrier. Cute, diesel little fukkers. 35 lbs. of muscle and hyperactivity disorder.

What's the alternative?
Do you let your dogs/cats go around the hood humping whoever they like?
Do you take care of their kids? I mean, he/she's fam right? Wouldn't want to separate them.
Nobody's going to do that. The alternative is that you'll either sell the pups or send them to an asylum, breaking up the family and having no guarantee that they won't end up in abusive homes or on the street.
We don't live in a free-roaming society anymore and we've adjusted our 'pet-owning' behavior to it. The OTHER alternative is taking our pets BACK to the habitats they've been estranged to for thousands of years (assuming we haven't built over it) and dropping them back in the 'surivival of the fittest' world.
So yeah, it's nice to have let our pets be free but are the alternatives really better for them and for us?
Cats especially. Our gesture of good will in not neutering them will lead to us resorting to slaughter them by the thousands because there's either no space for them or they've been mistreated even worse. Also, less people will want to take care of dogs/cats who display mating behavior. So they'll, as is still happening now, get them while they're pups/kittens cause it's cute, and ditch them as soon as they start displaying mating behaviors.
