I hold 2 35's and do 6 reps on one side while i hold the other weght in a static position (elbow to my side with my fist up holding the weight out) then switch to the other side. I do 2 sets of 6(24 total reps) and call it 1 total set. I do this 3 times. My arms feel like they're walking on air afterwards.

Static curls. Test your mental fortitude.

how long have you been doing these curls?

ive been doing zottmans and slightly wide grip barbell curls for a minute

do you see a size difference? did you start at a lesser weight and work up to 35 aka a strength increase?

I start and stay at a weight i know will barely be able to get through but manageable with a lot of determination. I havnt noticed a size difference because i dont look but i notice less muscle fatigue. I tailor my workout for grappling and i need to not be fatigued when im in static positions. With this im not afraid to hold onto chokes and pull cats necks for a little longer because i know my muslces can handle it. I just got back into being a gym rat so ill let you know in the next 90 days. I do not do this excercise everytime im in the gym. Probably ever 2 arm workouts. I always switch up my arm lifts when i go in to keep challenging myself.

Concentration curls and hammer curls is what I use...Zottman I don't really like because I have to go down in weight to do it effectively. I throw in some drop set also. Whenever I am doing biceps exercises standing I always put my back to the wall to avoid cheating. I used the GVT (using 25/30lbs. 10x10 )on my arms and they have gotten to the 15 inch mark finally...was 14.5'' a month ago. My max on my arms now are 55lbs.

are another good dumbell excercise. Give you that strength in the corner of your armpit which you need when you're bringing that weight up off yoor chest during a bench workout. Cosmetically they help reduce the appearence of having titties. I took some 40's and did 3 sets of 8.

I keep all my lifts simple these days. For biceps it's chinups, seated dumbell and hammer curls.

That's why you got to weight them. If you're already strong enough to pump chinups easily, then you need more resistance. You can do that through different variations on chin/pullups, but weighting with a harness works just fine.
