Just my perspective of black females in nyc. If I'm off the mark please advise. But I'm only speaking on young women in general aren't cooking meals like that of what the older black American generation . But it could be the older women are still manning the ship when it comes to family dinners so they don't have to
ah, yeah I can see where you going. Mix that with more interracial relationships and food will either be bland or non-existent, that or men will have to start manning the kitchen more outside of meat and BBQ.

I was in charge of the greens and black eyed peas today... but I didn't do it how my grandmas used to. Made a black eyed pea soup with pancetta, Italian sausage, celery/onion/carrots/garlic/jalapeno, and stirred in the collard greens with 10 minutes to go. Tasted like a spicy north Italian bean/lentil soup. Winning

Y’all kno that black eye peas were considered good luck because it’s one of the main crops that didn’t get destroyed during the civil war when the union burned the whole south…and it kept the racist confederacy from staving…but yall keep eating dem peas for good luck tho
