Do you date women similar to your mom?

Since women tend to date men like their dad, I was wondering if men did the same thing.

Like if you grew up with a crazy mom, are you more attracted to crazy women etc?
If your mom was traditional, are you more attracted to traditional women...blah blah blah.

i love my mother but we cant be around each other too long she is very passive aggressive to the point i moved out at a very early age because of it. so i tend to not deal with women like that......like at all, zero tolerance for that shyt

No. It's the opposite really. In my case..my mom is naive and too good hearted. She married very late in life, and this after a series of failed relationships with "I understand now" as poor quality men with promises.

I have been mostly attracted to women who are guarded and a bit untrusting. It's like prying a clam open to get them to fully open up to me. I have found this a worthy effort and very rewarding with the relationships established. Full disclosure tho, in the long term...this type of woman is prone to close back up. This is my current situation.

I don't like women like my mom. I love my mom but I would have not even thought about marrying her if I was my dad. Way too much stress

But the girls I date look nothing like my mom, I dont even date girls who resemble my cousins at all. Its gross to me.
