I can't do it. How am I gonna give a rapper my money, so he can buy a new watch or some shyt and tell me how much flyer he is than me? :dwillhuh:
you don't just buy any & everything you see in the store, you buy the shyt you really like & think deserves the money.

The other side, otherwise
This thread is kinda close to my heart. I used to hit up the Media Play a few towns over damn near religiously. Waiting for new albums to drop on Tuesdays was like the church experience for me when I was growing up. And that was just for the shyt I knew was dropping. fukkin' A man, I once cut class to cop Ras Kass 'Van Gogh', which I've yet to see to this day - ten some odd years later.

There was just something inherently dope about walking into the record store and wondering whether or not you'd find anything worthwhile. And if you were looking for something specific, grabbing it off the shelves was like Christmas.

I miss those days. At this point I haven't paid for music in years. :snoop:

Then again, times is hard and stakes is high. :lolbron:

Flodge free zone
Amoeba Records, Hollywood, Ca.

But the staff always irritate me and try to talk hip hop w/me so I've been utilizing amazon more and more....plus I'm just becoming less and less interested in the newer acts.

If I dont download it, I cop it from the nikka in the barber shop

Giving other nikkas money for something you could get for free? If you're going to spend bread why would you buy it off someone instead of the actual artist:skip:
