Atleast here in the US, he is considered black. His dad is a black American. From everything I’ve seen and heard, it also looks like he embraces his black side.

his son, no, you can't be BLACK at only 1/4 black IMO. you can be mixed, multiracial, multiethnic, whatever, but I wouldn't use black as a sole descriptor.
drake, i'd be fine with him calling himself black. growing up, half & half mixed kids were black you'd acknowledge they were mixed, but for the most part, most the mixed kids i knew just leaned into being black.

If Drake identifies as black, I'm not gonna argue about it. His son is too young. When he comes of age and if he identifies as black, then he's black. I let biracial folks make their own determination. 99 percent of the biracial folks I've known throughout the years identify as black.
