Republicans don’t even care about national debt. Look at their spending in the last few administrations

I need yall to look at this chart again.

Debt has gone up under all administrations. No innocent administration in terms of not spending crazy.

However, Trump/Biden years have been severe severe. That black vertical line says:
  • "The U.S. added $11.8T in debt, since 2020, just over 1/3 of the current outstanding debt."
A current kindergartener has experienced 1/3 of the entire debt of the nearly 250 years of the U.S.A.'s existence :mjtf:

The rate is increasing.:unimpressed:

I don't see how anyone thinking the national debt is not a problem. We can talk about raising taxes to chip away at it but the goal should be to cut wastful spending so we don't have to pay as much taxes. At some point we will be paying more in interest than we take in without even tackling the principal.

The US government can just print more money. It's not backed by anything.

Yet people think this zoo created by the European is soooooo well ran and organized....."civilized":mjlol:. I guess some people would call giving less intelligent creatures an unnatural yet more comfortable habitat to enjoy humane. What they dont know wont hurt them right? They used to just throw animals in a glass enclosure, put newspaper down. Now they throw a few rocks out, some palm trees to make the animals feel at home. The European has created a wonderful illusion for for the g.m.o'd. As long as they need to keep the illusion going you will be fine:respect:

Seems intentional that both political parties are running up the National debt. As if their trying to cause a default.

Having worked for the Federal government it's pretty obvious where money is being wasted. But nobody will stop it because you get penalized for saving money. Meaning they'll cut your budget as a reward for doing the right thing.

It's problematic. We shouldn't run $1+ Trillion annual deficits every year unless there is an emergency.
I've been saying for years that we need to raise taxes back to Clinton era (last time we had a budget surplus) and cut government spending.

Pretty much. It doesn’t matter and shouldn’t concern US citizens. They always find money for the things they want. People not still homeless because the US has too much debt to provide adequate assistance, they just feel it’s not worth it to spend $ on right now lol

But let the debt credit rating get downgraded again :sas2: You say this but if economic opportunities keep going down for the average American, it ain't the creditors that will need to worry
