Do you agree with Steve Harvey about focusing in your 20s?

I'm 24, I have a full time landscaping job and I'm doing a few courses online as well as freelancing, I honestly hate it tbh :francis:

Outside of going out maybe every other weekend, my down time is spent shytposting :wow:

Could you imagine, picking up trash at a commercial property and seeing people around your age having fun, doing lord knows what on a weekday?

But yeah, hopefully I'll be able to have "fun" in my 30's :francis:

Sounds like you

I'm not sure why coli is so opposed to grinding. PLEASE tell me the formula of making money that's easy:lupe:, because outside of trust fund kids, I don't know a soul in this country that has gotten money without grinding. Athletes, rappers, movie stars, doctors, lawyers, they all grinded. Yeah there's some luck, but you have to put yourself in those situations to even come across luck. On a small scale, the guys in IT, Engineers, Salesman also had to grind.

If anyone happens to come across an easy way of making money without having to grind, while letting you have fun, please spread the word here.

:pachaha:Lol y’all something else. In the game of life and great success, there is no such thing as balance. A guy who’s balancing a marriage with kids, stands no chance against a man without the obligation. And there’s this thing called passion. If u love what u do, u love it with all ur heart. U focus on it. Women be damned. Family be damned. And I know that statement offends many. But if ur walking thru life dithering, playing juggles with ur priorities, you’ll most definitely come out average.

All you need to do is look at what actually happens in the real world and you'd realize how goofy this whole post sounds

Obama came out average right? The Rock? Denzel? Lebron? When you step into any room full of the world's most accomplished, rich, elite, people with "great success" you see a common thread - marriage & kids

but we get it. #GMB and all that :mjlol:

He's right...but you can't make your entire life about work and sacrifice

Your 20s are your young years...and while it's critical to use them wisely, you have to live life a little because once you hit your 30s real responsebilities kick inand then it's over because you have people who depend on you to handle your business.

I spent my 20s finishing undergrad and grad school...classes, thesis research, fellowships, study aborad etc etc....alot of my time was spent traveling everywhere abroad that i could get to....trying to publish research papers and getting my dik sukked as often as possible...i spent alot when i could have saved....and it was worth every second :manny:

The grind can overwhelming. Even if you love what you're doing, chances are there are still some aspects of it that suck and there's no way around those things except to take them straight on.

A common thing I started to see all around social media in all types communities is many people will not want to do the work themselves. Instead they turn into keyboard warriors because that's easier than actually putting the work in. Counting on other people paving the way ain't grinding and does nothing for your unique situation or barely moves it forward at best.

Forget all that - you better get out there and start grinding if you want the most bang for your buck. Turn off the distractions and get going. Even some things like social media are a distraction to most people but for a small percentage it's part of their actual work. If you're tuning in to watch them when they go live, they're putting in work while you're being distracted - there's a difference.

The only person out of this list who needed a wife to be successful in his field was Obama.

what are you even arguing? when did I say they "needed" a wife to be successful?

Breh said if you try to balance with a relationship or family, you stand no chance compared to someone who doesnt or you'll be average trying to maintain relationships, family life, while working on your craft. I gave several obvious examples why that is wrong.
