Nah
Nah
Fat joe wants a word with you.You buried the lede. Nobody asked your opinion on my ethnic group. I don't speak on yours, you don't speak on mine. That's respect. Anything else is overstepping boundaries. Brooklyn is not America. I moved out here from Harlem and, though I see how you could be confused, that is not reality.
Both my IQ and education are immaculate. Don't think nobody peeped you calling us ignorant nikkas.
NY FBA are not a good example of FBA sentiment, as has been shown by the fallout of the Drake-Kendrick beef. Our localized confusion is just that, localized. Luckily, I never been confused bc yall think I'm one of the good ones and say WILD out of pocket shyt to me.My actual point was his boy who did 2 bids (also FBA) shut him down when he hustled and got a decent paying jobs living in the quiet part of Yonkers, but blasted him when he was complaining about immigrants taking a job from him.
They both gainfully employed, working full time, and said whatever immigrant is taking your job, it must not pay well.
Thats when I knew the "immigrants are taking our jobs" angle doesn't go very far amongst blacks in all circles, FBA or immigrant. Well, at least in NY.
Yep. They have good reason to be worried too, you see how slick they are with the disrespect, right? Welp.I know why they are upset and worried about some Black Americans pushing for Delineation, but their pride will not allow them to admit it or admit that their ethnicities were the ones who started this whole mess. Our ancestors worked to open the doors for them, and many of them came and made sure that the White man understood they were not one of us and would not side with us. Some of our people have finally seen enough, and decided to give them what they want, but no longer allow it to be under their control.
Negged. Harlem is gentrified and they used Africans to do it. This is our relationship. They use you as tools of our oppression and you're happy about it.
I can count the non-FBA I've known (out of hundreds) who show respect on a single hand. Pan Africanism is a non starter under these conditions.Overall as long as we all show each other respect and don’t dismiss the contributions made from each group it’s all love. I don’t think pan Africanism on a large scale can work unless everyone can see financially it’s beneficial for all.

Furthermore, no disrespect to homie, but I would never prioritize the opinions of a bm who hasn't read Baldwin, Woodson, or any of our intellectual powerhouses. He don't know shyt and just happy to be there and free.
No, but I assume that's a thing. I've seen people claim they are mixed when they are clearly black but other than that
I’ve heard similar things throughout my life. I remember Paul Mooney telling a joke about West Indians thinking they’re better than us because white people dropped them off first. Y’all like to feign ignorance and minimize when people talk about their experiences with immigrant blacks. So in your lifetime you've had a Jamaican, African, and Haitian woman all tell you the same exact thing?
