Do ya'll believe Garcelle Beauvais Fancy from Jamie Foxx Show earns $700k a year in residual income from reruns?

That’s different. One of the most popular shows of all time, in heavy syndication yearly across multiple platforms. Only a handful of shows are getting it like that (Seinfeld for instance).
I seriously doubt that 700k number is accurate given that I’m not even sure where the show is syndicated. Then again maybe it’s getting heavy play overseas. That’s what happens with Everyone Hates Chris which has a big following in South America for some reason lol.
Breh, Jamie Foxx Show is always on the BET/MTV circuit. It’s in syndication on one of the FOX stations in my area but I’m not sure if that’s nationwide or not. I’d assume so obviously. Plus the show has been on constant rotation like that for two decades now.

Not everybody signs bullshyt contracts. Why don't you guys believe this? 
I can believe 700k. For that industry that's not even a lot of money. And that's a well syndicated show. Especially since his career took off way back when.

Thank you. Just like the music industry, some folks are so happy to have a shot they sign the first contract somebody shoves in their face. But some folks know they are in a position to negotiate and they do so successfully and think long term. A beautiful woman helps a show with ratings. They needed a beautiful woman. She was in a position to negotiate. Woman was incredible. I can see these residuals easily. If you do the math it's not even some wild amount per episode!

I don't see how people believe in here are believing the $700K number a year considering higher tier actors from other shows aren't getting even close to those type of residuals by their own accord.
Remember a lot of those older shows didn't account for the streaming factor and only airplay from TV hence the frustration from actors in general.

Out of actors' mouths, the longer a show is in syndication the less money they get in residuals unless you have an EP credit or ownership in the show
It says actors get 6% of their original salary. She was on 100 episodes and the show lasted 5 seasons

Nobody giving a actress who had little buzz and was just doing episodes on other shows before this show came out a contract like that.. Garrett Morris i can believe because he was a star on SNL And was known in Hollywood.. but he wasn’t getting that much either
