Yep, and streaking allows you to listen to more than ever. You’ll just find out that a lot of newer artists are literally making the same music, and dudes that are supposedly “the next greats” aren’t that at all.
Nah, I only disrespect Nas stansof course you don't...you excuse terrible music on the daily and disrespect the greats of the genre yourself.
Breh.Who listens to blueface? He’s a 1 hit wonder and there have always been blueface equivalents in rap music
why would you compare an all time group with a catalog of hits to blueface?
Yep.But most of us are in the 30+ range and are gonna talk about 90s hip hop more than anything. It's what we grew up on
Breh.
I've had these actual conversations with 22, 23, 21 year olds. Lol.
I'm in Cali people fukking love Bluefwce, Rj, etc. out here.
YOU might think he's a one hit wonder but there's people out here who know his songs word for word.
I don’t agree with @CrimsonTider and @Gator Reloaded a lot but for as much heat they get for their posts, it feels like they are the only ones here that actually listens to current rap.
There are maybe only 3 other posters here that I can talk about mainstream current rap with and that’s why the booth is dying.
NeggedIt seems like nobody on here actually likes hip hop and I know this board skews older but some of the takes on here about current hip hop are so bad that it makes me question if y’all haven’t listened to music in 25 years if you looked here you’d think you’re in 1998 instead of 2021 and hip hop is dead when’s it’s never been as versatile and big as it is today.
So do y’all like hip hop?
Only current rappers I really like are KRIT, CyHi, Gibbs, Kendrick and to a lesser degree Big Sean. They're heavily influenced by 90s/first half of 00s artists like Outkast, Pac, UGK, early Ye etc. Check em outIf you're a fan of the current hip hop scene. Help those of us who don't rock with it learn about who we need to be checking for

i give nikkas a try - shyt is garbage. and only so much negative music i'm gonna listen to as a 30-something female. i'm no pearl clutcher, but if i'mma listen to some negative shyt, it's gonna be what i grew up on where at least there was some skill behind the rhymes. like i always hit that rap caviar list a couple times a month - this is supposed to be the hot shyt from these dudes? it's all so trash, there may be a couple songs worth adding to my gym playlist just for the energy of the beat...but other than that, i'm not sure what lyrics we're supposed to be discussing from these dudesI don’t agree with @CrimsonTider and @Gator Reloaded a lot but for as much heat they get for their posts, it feels like they are the only ones here that actually listens to current rap.

Outside of Lil Tjay because he has a WOAT rap voice and Saweetie most of that list is good musici give nikkas a try - shyt is garbage. and only so much negative music i'm gonna listen to as a 30-something female. i'm no pearl clutcher, but if i'mma listen to some negative shyt, it's gonna be what i grew up on where at least there was some skill behind the rhymes. like i always hit that rap caviar list a couple times a month - this is supposed to be the hot shyt from these dudes? it's all so trash, there may be a couple songs worth adding to my gym playlist just for the energy of the beat...but other than that, i'm not sure what lyrics we're supposed to be discussing from these dudes
i mean honestly, listening to this, this isn't about older listeners being outta touch, these dudes aren't making music someone with limited time wants to sit down and listen to RapCaviar
that's not good music. full stop.Outside of Lil Tjay because he has a WOAT rap voice and Saweetie most of that list is good music
but if you don’t prefer Atlanta rap(lil baby, young thug) and Memphis rap ( Moneybag) then that’s probably not for you
Die lit isn’t trash but WLR maybe the worse music of all timethat's not good music. full stop.
i'm able to admit when an artist i like is trash - carti for example. you'd be a better poster if you could do the same
