Are you seriously saying the only way not to be lonely in old age is to be married with kids? There are so many rich communities that are not build around that limited structure. People have friends, social groups, they volunteer, they foster, they have hobbies. There are lonely people with kids who don't visit or abuse them. There's no absolutes. Having kids just not be lonely sounds selfish AF.
