Nah, back in the 80's thru mid90's, Sabretooth would usually win. From like 00's to now, Wolvie's been crushing Sabretooth.

Thats cause Wolverine got that crazy push into general pop culture with the movie. Before that Hugh Jackman hype, Sabretooth gave that nikka that work a lot more than they have him do now. Then they started writing Wolverine comics into just ridiculous level of regeneration and strength feats from what I recall.

Regen feats. yes (tho at least reasonably explained for his boost; most marvel cats got their powers boosted around the time as well anyway), but strength feats...eh...not really.
It's up there, as far as comic rivalries go, few have led to as much bloodshed and overall loss as these two have. Its not a history altering beef like Optimus/Megatron or Xavier/Magneto but as far as pure hate, nothing tops it
