yes, i'm sure dodd-frank is a large part of the regulatory legislation he was referring to.
maybe you vote differently than he does. that just make you more selfless, that doesn't make him ignorant. there's nothing stupid or bad about voting w your own best interests in mind.
It's ignorant because people don't understand that voting for your own best intrests while ignoring the needs of the entire country is very shortsighted and will not benefit you in the long run.
Doesn't matter how much money you vote into your own pocket, if the rest of the country goes down, you go down with it. Plenty of people learned this in the recent financial collapse that emptied out their 401ks.
Yeah they were all for less regulation and fiscal responsibility till the shyt hit the fan, then they were applying for Medicaid and SS just like everybody else.
