Nothing special. My cousin was like 10 at the time, half black/half white,growing up in an all black neighborhood. Average kid, quiet. Never even thought about his racial makeup because like i said he was just a normal watch cartoon network,ride my bike,and eat chicken nuggets kid. Anyway he goes to spend the summer with the white side of his family and they spend the whole summer brainwashing him that he's white because his mother is white basically forcing a 10 year old to pick a side. When he came back home saying he's white the white kids are like no you aren't and the black kids are like you want to be white then go be white which lead to bullying and harassment for being the only "white kid" in the hood. A kid who didn't even know how to throw a punch was getting jumped almost everyday. He had a nervous breakdown trying to figure out why the world hated him at 10 years old. When they confronted his white family about it they said it wouldn't be happening if he didn't live in the ****** neighborhood.
My uncle had to sit him down,show him how to fight and give him a mulatto wake up call about not being ashamed of who he is or his racial make up but it was too late. Now he's 14 and has some psychological damage from it. He doesn't really trust black or white people now,especially white people.
