The problem with these percentages are, the Spurs system has pretty much functioned on him interchanging between the 4 and 5 on offense/defense, at any given time. I don't see any issue in dudes classifying him as a PF - because I sometimes refer to him as such. But in terms of strict positioning - he really doesn't have one. He's a positionless big in every sense of the term.

I never knew that stat was kept on there that's dope. Yea I have no issue with him being referred to as a PF, like you I said I see him as a positionless big too, and if anything more of a PF than a C. Obviously going by this he should be known as a C more, but again like you said even many times when he was at C he was floating around as a PF/C as needed out there.

Let's just call him one of the greatest big men and players ever. Classify him as whatever you want but give the man his props for being relevant as long as he has. In 2011 many wrote him off after he had his worst season ever. But 3 years later he is still out here balling and still contending for All Star status at this late stage of his great career.
