What's that supposed to mean? Yeah I know it would be difficult, but it would be the only way to effect real change. As it stands he will die and nobody in the lapd will be penalized or have to change their ways.
as it stands, you can take the lapd to court, maybe get a few milly if youre lucky, but nothing ever really changes systematically.
this at least had a chance to really get people thinking about police corruption in their own ways and also shined a brighter light on police corruption. and the first step in solving a problem is identifying the problem.
but since the whole ordeal turned out to be short, for some folks it will be back to business as usual-out of sight out of mind, but for others they will have to continue the dialogue around police responsibility/police corruption in their own ways.
