If you liked New Girl, Winston and Aly starred in one together. I enjoyed it. And it's on Netflix. It's called Desperados.

Marriage Story ain’t no romcom :mjlol:
Leave me alone - I said that I am not a watcher of romance/relationship movies.
The husband crying throughout the entire movie was funny to me and I kept picturing him as Darth Vader from Star Wars which made it even more comedic. Black Widow and Kylo Ren having relationship issues - I marveled at he concept, 2 stars from action/adventure movies in a marriage war.
:laff::deadrose:

Dude was crying throughout the whole movie, she should never do melodramatic acting, best parts of the movie were their lawyers - I would like the last 2 hrs of my life back please
:feedme:

Maybe I liked it a little more than when i led on in my initial response, now that I’m thinking back at the different parts.

Like I said earlier, drama/rom-com movies are usually not my thing but I watched this until the end so that says something. The movie wasn’t on my radar and I wouldn’t haven’t watched until I saw your post actually. Salute. Pending rep.

But I did watch it and felt enough about it to discuss it soooo

They do, they just don't have the lasting power as a talking point like they used to anymore. You can really say the same for every comedy genre for the past 5-10 years.

They still make them on Netflix.

Yeah, basically.

Romantic comedies (and raunchy comedies, and lots of other genres) are increasingly rare when it comes to cinema releases.

Netflix and other streaming services are to blame. Basically, movie studios have figured out that, these days, people will pay to watch Marvel movies and other action movies with lots of special effects at cinemas, but they won't do the same for comedies.
