Rest in Peace to Kobe Bryant, but the "Black Mamba" was a self given nickname and Mamba Mentality was a marketing slogan.

People need simple slogans to follow and repeat. We saw Kobe fail on the big stage as a kid, and then saw the results of him WORK WORK WORKING his way into great, elite, all time great player. That's not Mamba Mentality, it took off when he continued to refine his craft, adapt and persevered. Which is why people in all walks off life reference it. Mamba Mentality essentially is his transformation from 8 to 24. It's nothing special, it's about personal growth but we love it
