In the state, I'd have to guess around a million since they are right around 500,000 of them in NYC. Not a lot by CA, AZ or TX standards but enough that you notice them.

In the state, I'd have to guess around a million since they are right around 500,000 of them in NYC. Not a lot by CA, AZ or TX standards but enough that you notice them.
Not many Ricans here, mostly Mexicans unfortunately, but call a Rican a Mexican and see what happens. 
There are all types of latinos in NY.
I'm in the suburbs and it feels like it's more Ecuadorians, Chileans, Colombians than Mexicans. But there are Mexicans out here.
It's like anything else, really.
On a general level, people tend to think that there are rivalries between DR/PR/Mexico, etc...
But in reality, people tend to deal with things on an individual basis.
A PRican might make generalizations or have general opinions about Mexicans (and vice versa), but if they see one or meet one in person, they generally treat one another with respect. Maybe because that's how you should treat each other as human beings. Or maybe it's like..."Hey, sup fellow Latino..."
It's not the drama story you were probably looking for, but it's been my experience.
Just like all you people typing CAC this, CAC that....left and right on the coli have never called a white person a CAC in real life.

ricans are pretty much only around miami and new york city tri state area ...they don't have a high population hardly anywhere else

I hate when drama thirsty mofos will see two people from different groups fight/have beef and all the sudden they come to the conclusion that both groups are at war or something.

Im Haitian. One of my best friends in HS was dominican. We eventually lost touch but that was my dude. One of my best friends right now is this dominican chick i used to work with in Miami. We used to fukk but eventually stopped and remained close friends for the last 15+ years.
She just broke up with this dude she was engaged to last year and told me if she reaches 35 and aint married she wants me to be her sperm donor.
