Feels nice to win a series against Philly in Philly, even if they are a last place team...

Now that McCann is getting his shyt together and Bourn/Prado/Heyward/Chipper are running the top of the order, all we need is Uggla and Freeman to get their shyt together. RIGHT now.

Oh, and good job Hanson... him and Huddy are solid and if we can get Minor and JJ to believe in themselves (I can't worry about Delgado, he may need to be trade bait)...

Freeman has been batting pretty well in the cleanup spot with J-Hey batting third. I don't know if our starting pitching will hold up for a division win. We need to trade for somebody because right now as it stands, we ain't winning with what we have.

Best win of the season... hands down. Hanson was off (he always struggles with the Mets) but we got to dikkey.... wish we could have given him the loss, though he is a very solid pitcher.

Props to Prado, Bourn, Heyward, and Freeman for bringing us back YET again... and our bullpen still has some shakiness but the new guy Avilan came through... and Martinez.

And we all know Kimbrel is just filthy now. Dude makes striking out the side look like a cakewalk... I'm getting to where now if it's the 9th and we're ahead, it's all but over.

I like Prado b/c of his versatility. Upton has more upside. I'd rather we get another starting pitcher before we trade one of our most consistent regulars

Yeah, I don't know about the trade either. Prado is suppose to be the full-time replacement to Chipper at 3B. If we trade him away, Uggla is going to move to 3B once Chipper retires.

I want Upton... but I don't want to lose Prado to do it. I wouldn't mind giving up Minor for him. Delgado got sent down so maybe they're gonna try and develop him more. But if it takes Prado to get Upton... then no. I'd rather us go after re-signing Bourn. Just gonna have to come up with that money.


Also... props to Sheets so far today. 3 scoreless innings. Just need 6 from him in first start back (and less than 3 runs) and I'll be happy with his performance.

That boy Sheets still got it. I was pleasantly surprised. Dude handled himself very well. 6 scoreless innings and got out of trouble a few times. And I can't believe our lineup got to Santana today.... he usually puts us in check.

2nd in the East, tied for first in the WC and only 3 behind Washington... this season is looking good. No second half slumping... 7 game winning streak since the half way point... and of course sweeping the Mets and Phillies makes it all better...
