If you trade for Stanton, you're basically going to give up a package like this
Wheeler; Montero, Syndergaard.

Your better off going after Tulo or Cargo. I would have loved to have went after Ryan Braun last year, but that ship likely sailed.
I'd give up tda, Montero and syndergaard
But I feel like it doesn't matter who we bring in, they still gonna have trouble hitting it out here

Wright deserves so much better
How they build a mo zone in his power alley

Not to mention all the other times he's been shyt on by this shyt franchise

I feel like they built the park backwards
You don't need a pitchers park when you have great pitching

I wouldn't wish any great hitter to play in Metco. fukk that. :ughh:

Mets are dumb for not building a ball park that's favorable to hitters but fair to pitchers.

Got Wright looking at RF like :sadcam:

Park is fair now, we just have no power hitters.
Outside of Granderson, there are no HR hitters, Wright is basically a gap hitter who gets you 17-20 HR's at this point.
Scott Hairston and Ike Davis were able to hit homers here in 2012, so it comes down to the Mets not having power hitters.

The Tigers play in a quintessential pitcher's park, yet they were top 10 in SLG% for the past two years, and they were top 10 in homers last year. That's because they had power hitters like Miggy and Prince.

People analyzing this team too much, the reason this team can't hit HR's is because this team sucks. Also the ball carries horribly out of CitiField and it's a shytty place to watch a game. Sick and tired of seeing balls that would be HR's fall short. But maybe if the team didn't suck so much they would leave the park. Also the curse of the Wilpon's is all over the place, that doesn't help either. I hate this team

I agree
We got the wrong abreu
Tejada is not playing to bad tho

This is what I would do
Fire Collins and hire Willie
Trade a couple of young arms and get Stanton from the marlins
Bring the fences in

The park pretty much ended wrights career
He's a singles hitter now, and not a great 1 either

Actually advanced statistics show Tejada is one of the worst players in the game so far this season. It's just he hasn't sucked as much as last season so it seems like he's playing decent. Couple that with the fact the rest of the team sucks also takes away from how absolutely shytty and worthless Tejada is.

I don't really care for advanced statitics or sabremetrics
I gave him the eye test
He looked really nervous at the beginning of the year, but he looks fine now
I'm not saying he's great, but he isn't the problem

He has a .542 OPS
His offensive numbers aren't great but he's doing fine at short
After a terrible opening week he's 3rd in the league in fielding%
And 7th in range

These aren't ideal numbers
And tulo would make anybody's numbers look bad
But I feel like we need to get more production from production spots,
I want my up the middle guys to be able to catch the ball
I want my runs coming from 1b, 3b, lf, and rf.

I remember when they said they were bringing in the the walls. I'm thinking for what? The only people that hit homeruns were Ike and opposing teams. They might as well kept it in the pitchers favor

We have great pitching, they don't need the help
