They think we (met fans) are complete morons. This is right up there with spending NO money and giving the team underdog shirts in spring training.. This is more insulting tho actually

Even when this teams starts winning again, it's going to take a lot longer for the fans to return and stunts like this just make it that much worse. For the past several years this team has insulted our intelligence at just about every chance they've had. And now they want to push this real NY'er BS talking about fan support yet they build a stadium with 14k less seats, most of the seating cut was affordable seating. They priced out most of the working class fans which coincidentally makes up the bulk of real NY'ers. But hey those fans they basically told to fukk off, they need them now. I don't think the Wilpon's and the media realize that the damage the Wilpons have done to this franchise goes way beyond wins and losses.
