NO but nikkas need to stop adoring fashion designers and make their own shyt

This.

Tommy, Ralph, and Nautica have a special place in my heart, but this.

Also, I just want nikkas to just start thinking outside the box of what's considered "urban" and "acceptable" by black people's definitions and make truly original clothes that command attention. Having mad rappers making brands and all of these hood brands essentially doing the same thing only pigeonholes black creativity. Frankly there's so much stuff I'm sick and tired of.

One thing is this "damned if you do damned if you don't" mentality black folks seem to have. (not all but in general)...

If somebody does something that just what everybody else is doing...it's cool but people will complain that they're doing the same thing and not doing anything different.

Then, when somebody does do something different...they see it as trying to be "white" or equating it with something involving whiteness which not only limits us mentally and creatively but just adds to the overgrandiose BS behind white supremacy and that only white creatives/designers/etc are allowed to break ground and do different things. STOP GIVING THEM THAT POWER!

Or even worse, ignore black creatives doing something only to big up white creatives/designers and neglect their creativity...to continue to perpetuate that previous point I made that only white people are allowed to be creative and that anything else is secondary...BS.

I'm sick and tired of people saying sh!t like why aren't there no major black owned skate brands? Why aren't there no black horrorpunk brands? Why aren't there no black suit and tie brands? why aren't there no black goth brands? THATS CAUSE THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT ARE TOO AFRAID TO DO IT BECAUSE THEY CARE WAY TOO MUCH ABOUT WHAT THE OTHER MAN THINKS!!! So, because other people aren't gonna feel you or look at you weird because of something that's outside of the "norm"...you're not going to do it? Then you're just going to keep complaining.

Sometimes I think black peope love to complain and hate to put things into action...but I think it's because there hasn't been that black person that's showed them that they can not only do it...BUT DO IT THEIR OWN WAY!

END RANT!

Sigh..... I still have a bunch of that stuff in my closet that I used to wear years ago in high school. Some polo's, few jeans, and tees. Also have a few Nautica polo's. I need to get rid of that stuff.

Of course the ATL
If y'all actually shop the brand it's got some nice pieces along the same line as Ralph Lauren, that super preppy look, but Tommy doesn't take itself as seriously with how it's intended to be worn. I used to shyt on Tommy now, but lookin at their fall/winter collection I gotta say they deserve a fair look :ehh:
